The product is insoluble in water, miscible with diethyl ether, chloroform, easily soluble in acetone. It is used in industry as solvent to make mucilage glue for gluing shoes, leather, luggage and so on and in the electronic information industry as cleaning agent. Also n-hexane are widly used for crude oil leaching in food manufacturing, propylene solvent recycling in plastic manufacturing, aromatic solvent extraction in daily chemical production.
